On October 28, OpenPeerAI announced a 13.1B decoder-only prerelease grown in stages from its 163M OpenPeerLLM checkpoint. The authors describe it as a prerelease rather than a finished model.
A decision model rather than a text generator
On October 29, FrontiersMind announced the release of Lumma-Fev-4B-v2 and its 27B counterpart. The developer describes decision models that take a state and typed questions and return probabilities for options rather than generating text.
A tabbed workspace for chat and files
Released November 3, Open WebUI v0.13.0 adds a tabbed workspace for files, terminal sessions, artifacts and previews. Its release notes also describe a Desktop tab for computer use; this requires an Open Terminal connection with desktop support enabled.
A security-only patch release
Released October 23, LocalAI v4.12.1 hardens its policy for user-supplied external URLs. The release notes say redirect targets are validated at every hop and connections use the validated address; this is a security-only patch.
